Steps to connect Godaddy subdomain to Shopify
Following are steps to connect your godaddy sub-domain to your shopify store :
1 – Login to your godaddy account
2 – Go to my products https://account.godaddy.com/products
3 – Scroll down to your desire domain ,
3.1 – For my Domain is omnoire.com
4 – Click on DNS settings
5 – Scroll down to Sub-domain area
6 – Add your domain for me the domain was http://shop.omnoire.com .
7 – Then the important settings that we need to do
7.1 – On the records section click on ADD
7.2 – and add CNAME details by following settings
7.3 – CNAME | Host = shop | Points to = omnoire.myshopify.com / or yourstorename.myshopify.com
8 – Then settings you need to do on shopify
8.1 – Login to your shopify account
8.2 – on dashboard scroll down to online store > domains > add new domain/ Add existing domain(if not connected any other domain)
8.3 – Verify the connection
8.4 – we are done 🙂
